Technical Tip: How to delete a Collector from the GUI

Description	This article explains how to make sure that deleting a collector from the GUI is successful.
Scope	FortiSIEM.
Solution	Deleting a collector from the GUI usually fails because the following steps were not applied. Before proceeding with deleting a collector, make sure the following is done: There are no devices in CMDB -> Devices -> Discovered by, select the collector to delete from the drop-down. No devices are showing in Admin -> Setup -> Monitor -> Performance. Select the collector to delete from the drop-down. No agent association is linked to the collector in Admin -> Setup -> Windows Agent -> Host To Template Associations. Delete the collector.
